Canada's Adventure Couple Dave and Deb are well known adventure travel personalities. As a writer/photographer team, they share their experiences from around the world on ThePlanetD.com, Canada’s number 1 Travel Blog. Dave and Deb appear on a weekly television segment on Canada's National News Station, CTV where they talk travel every Friday on News Express. They have been featured in such publications as BBC Travel, AOL Travel, National Geographic's Intelligent Traveler, The Toronto Star and Fox News and are considered one of the top travel Influencers on the Internet.
They have run successful campaigns with companies such as American Express, Olympus Cameras, Rudy Project and Princess Cruises. They have also started a ground breaking partnership with Intrepid Travel, the leader in small group adventure tours where they will be giving their readers first hand accounts of traveling with Intrepid. They will also be leading custom tours and contributing to the Intrepid Travel brand.
Having worked closely with such tourism boards as the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tourism Fiji, Mexico Tourism, St. Kitts, Jamaica and The Jordan Tourism Board, they have showcased adventure destinations around the world proving the influence and reach that niche travel bloggers possess.
Dave and Deb have not only limited their relationships to tourism boards and corporations, they have worked with smaller companies such the Flying Kiwi and AllWays Rentals in New Zealand, Rawai Muay Thai in Thailand and most recently as Ambassadors for Samba Days doing adventures in their own back yard. In the new year they will be working on a project with Quark Expeditions in Antarctica where they will be photographing for their 2013 brochure and skyping live from the south of the world with television viewers across Canada.
